I have had many bone marrow eoriacttxns done- i am a 5 year cancer survivor. You can have the eoriacttxns completed with some major pain killers. I had my first one done with lidocaine injected into the extraction area. I do not recommend this- it was quiet painful. The rest I have had completed with a pain medication injection into veins- this was just the answer. I could feel the pressure of them working on my lower back but did not feel any pain. The next day I was sore in my lower back and legs, but it was manageable. You do need to check your local area- many places do have funds to help those without medical insurance- maybe even Medicaid.I would highly recommend getting the test done- ignoring the issue could lead to more painful test in the future and I am sorry to say, death. If you have any more questions, feel free to e-mail me.Holly
